Some duties would include feeding and watering livestock, sorting and penning various classes of livestock, driving heavy equipment such as skid-steers and compact tractors to clean and re-bed the facility. Current Positions Available

Yard Foreman

Duties would include, but not limited to, organizing yard staff (scheduling, sale placement), ensuring yard staff have the proper tools to do the job they are assigned each day, ensuring the livestock sales move smoothly and efficiently, ensuring all animals left in our care are well fed and well bed, keeping an accurate inventory of animals in the yard, keeping an accurate inventory of hay, straw and shavings, keeping an accurate inventory of tools and animals handling devices in the yard, ensuring the proper livestock are loaded on the proper trucks, communicating with sales staff and management to ensure arrival pens are ready, communicating with management about yard staff and inspection issues, communicating briefly with government inspectors who may have questions about yard related concerns, organizing general facility, property and equipment maintenance, helping sort and get animals ready for sale and working with management to meet the company’s weekly, monthly, annual and 5 year goals. This job is physically demanding and takes place in a fast-paced atmosphere. Experience working with livestock is an asset but not necessary. Training will be provided. Wages would be negotiated with successful applicants.

Livestock Attendant

Duties would include, but not limited to, feeding and watering livestock, sorting and penning various classes of livestock, driving heavy equipment such as skid-steers and compact tractors to clean and re-bed the facility. This job is physically demanding and takes place in a fast-paced atmosphere. Experience working with livestock is an asset but not necessary. Training will be provided. Wages would be negotiated with successful applicants.

Weekend Livestock Receiver and Shipper

Duties would include, but not limited to, feeding and watering livestock, penning various classes of livestock, driving heavy equipment such as skid-steers and compact tractors to ensure livestock were properly fed and bed, keeping an accurate inventory of livestock in the yard. This job is physically demanding and takes place in a fast-paced atmosphere. Experience working with livestock is an asset but not necessary. Excellent organizational skills are required. Training will be provided. Wages would be negotiated with successful applicants.
