Total Receipts: 595 cattle; 1,161 sheep, lambs & goats

 

Market Comments:

Monday – Lambs sold stronger, all classes of goats sold steady and sheep sold steady with quality considered. A run of primarily heavy veal sold steady to stronger.

Wednesday – Cows and bulls sold steady. Fed cattle sold just steady.

Thursday – All classes of stockers sold steady.

• James Hackner of Uxbridge consigned 2 Holstein veal. They had an average weight of 758 lbs and sold for an average price of $231.88.
